Email editors in Bloomreach Engagement are the two ways to build an email. The visual builder is a drag-and-drop editor based on BEE, with Settings, Rows and Content tabs. The HTML builder gives full control over HTML and CSS, with code, edit and view modes. Both support Jinja personalization, language versions and HTML blocks. HTML blocks are reusable snippets such as headers and footers, stored in the Asset Manager and inserted as dynamic content. A block can carry typed parameters that the editor fills in per campaign. Rows in the visual builder can carry a display condition built from a segment, which the editor turns into a Jinja `if` around the row.

The common surprise is that saved custom rows and language versions are copies. A change to the saved row or the default template doesn't flow into campaigns that already used it.
In practice
Put the header, footer and legal block in HTML blocks, then confirm with a test send that an edit to the block shows up in an existing template. Custom rows and language versions are copies and will not pick it up.
