The email click heatmap is a Bloomreach Engagement evaluation view that overlays the share of recipients who clicked each link on a preview of the email. You find it under `Click map` in an email campaign or scenario. It can show click rate (`unique_clicks` divided by `unique_deliveries`), unique clicks or total clicks. It counts clicks by the link's position in the email structure, not by URL, so personalized product slots still add up.

That dependence on structure is also the failure mode. Adding or moving elements after the first run, including a test run, changes each link's position reference (its xpath) and misattributes earlier clicks. Links inside Outlook-only VML code blocks don't show at all. The map is calculated per email node, so a scenario with several emails shows a node selector.
In practice
Freeze the layout before the first real send and edit copy only afterwards. If a redesign is unavoidable, save as new so the old heatmap stays readable.
