Customer Intelligence Loop

A customer intelligence loop is the cycle where a system reads customer data, decides on an action, acts, measures the result, learns, and repeats.

Also known as

intelligence loop

It is a useful way to describe the AI-era CDP: the data foundation feeds decisions, decisions become activations, and results flow back as new data. The loop only works if each step is connected.

In practice

Most stacks break the loop on the return path: they act but never feed results back. Closing that loop is usually higher value than a smarter model.
