A flow in Klaviyo is an automated, triggered sequence of messages and logic, the equivalent of what other platforms call a scenario or journey.

Also known as
Klaviyo flow
Flows are Klaviyo’s automation engine: a welcome flow, an abandoned-cart flow, a post-purchase flow. Each is started by a trigger (a metric, a list join, a date property) and can branch on conditions, waits, and filters. It is the counterpart to a one-off campaign, which is sent manually.
In practice
Build durable revenue in flows, not only campaigns. Campaigns are one-time sends; flows run automatically against every customer who qualifies, which is where much of an ecommerce program’s automated revenue comes from.
