Quality assurance (QA) is the practice of systematically checking that something works as intended before it goes live. In a data stack, that means checking tracking, consent, and campaigns.

In implementation work QA is where much of that trust is won or lost: event QA (does the event fire with the right properties?), consent QA (does tracking respect the banner?), and campaign QA (does the message render and target correctly?). It is unglamorous and one of the highest-impact habits in a marketing-data team.
In practice
Make QA a checklist, not a vibe. For every new event, weblayer, or journey, write down what correct looks like and verify it in a test environment before launch, because a tracking bug found after go-live may already have corrupted the data.
